She is a Greek female ninja assassin. Her trademark weapon is a pair of bladed sai.

Elektra ranked 22nd in the Comics Buyer's Guide's 100 Sexiest Women in Comics list.
She first appearred in the comic "Daredevil" number 168 from Januari 1981.
